Mountains - Sewn (2006)

Beneath ambient-drone duo 'Mountains' sound lies a natural pulsating sound-scape. One which is filled with gently shifting murmurs of noise, aided along with various field recordings and ambient drops and textures. There is nothing more tranquillizing  than allowing yourself to be fully immersed in the journey by closing your eyes as your headphones are filled with the sound of cascading water on the track 'Below'. This is field recording at its absolute best.

Japanese composer Akira Kosemura brings a delicate mix of down-tempo beats, prepared piano and acoustic guitar together to create a unique, pensive experience for the listener. This one is best served on a cloudy morning (such as the cover art suggests) with a strong cup of coffee for company - Warmth inside and out.
